The Challenge of Cultural Perception…

Many of us believe believe that what we see/perceive is “Reality”.  Actually, our perceptions are largely dependent on our early frames of reference.  We see the world through overlapping “filters” on our perception.  From early on, we are taught to practice “We are Separate”.  This basic separation forms the basis of our fundamental schisms, including differences in culture and ethnicity, gender and orientation and more.  We cannot cure racism, sexism or other fundamental differences without first clearing the distortions in our perception.

Learning “Cultural Perception” is a must for successfully navigating 21st Century challenges.

Topics We Will Explore…

  • What is ‘Cultural Perception’?
  • What are ‘cultural filters’?  Who has them?  Where do they come from? What reinforces our filters?
  • How does Cultural Filtering Affect Our Relationships?
  • Filters and Values
  • Practical Steps to Shifting Perception

‘Cultural Perception’ is not just an idea… it’s a PRACTICE.  It involves correctly seeing oneself, and piercing the illusion of difference.  ‘Cultural Perception’ provides you with tools to successfully navigate deep-seated social and cultural differences.

The size of this Module is set at a maximum of 25 participants, to insure the highest degree of participation and interaction. (Minimum class size = 8 participants.)
